Issues setting up AIY voice kit v1 with raspberry pi 4

I am relatively new to raspberry pi, but I am setting up a magic mirror with google assistant. I am trying to to use an aiy voice kit v1's speaker and mic with my pi but I am having trouble setting it up.

here is the tutorial i am following. Terminal seems to crash at the second line. Also it says sudo apt get key is deprecated.
