Adding voltage sensor to HDMI i2c rb02w

Having a few max17043 sensors on its way, i need to use the i2c on hdmi bc all real pins are used on my zero 2w.
Any experiences with hand soldering to the mini-HDMI pins? Which pins? All formus questions i found are from 2013 when the kernel had to be patched for this i2c-line, is it included now?
