mounting a drive as read only?

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hopefully I'mbeing dumb. I am using fstab to mount a network drive with the below:

//192.168.4.204/video /home/pi/nas cifs default,nofail,_netdev,user=admin,password=
0 0 Wrongly I assumed mounting as the NAS admin would give rw, it did not. i tried:

//192.168.4.204/video /home/pi/nas cifs rw,nofail,_netdev,user=admin,password=
0 0 but still not rw, am I missing something obvious?
