Help! I got a wave share 7.5â€Â￾ epaper and it only says e-Paper busy

Help! I got a wave share 7.5â€￾ epaper and it only says e-Paper busy

I got an epaper display to use with a raspberry pi 3 b+ and i can’t get it to work no matter what I do. I have tried a whole new pi, using the wires over the hat and reseating the cables, turning spi on and off, changing the spi parameters, and reseating the cables. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
