Pro Pinball Big Race USA and Fantastic Journey working on pcsx-rearmed

Also posting this to r/Retroarch!! Struggled to run these. Very good pinball games. Always ended up with a black screen on Retroarch. I'm able to run both games without issues using the pcsx-rearmed core. (The default on RA on Ps Classic.) I believe the fix is to turn on the "fake scanlines" - effect. I also tried the games on Duckstation and Duckstation automatically applied the scanlines setting, thus proving my point. Make sure console region and the game region correspond. There could be some settings I'm forgetting.. Not at home, can't check. I have a feeling I'm right though.
