Pi w that can run Plex server

Hi guys. I'm recently looking into a Raspberry Pi, but I don't know anything about them. Basically, I'm looking for something I can hook an external hard drive full of media too, and run a Plex server on it. I also want to be able to browse the web, and stream from the usual streaming sites. Currently, I have to move my laptop from my office to the living room tv to do all this.

I'm looking to a device I can just leave hooked up to my living room tv that can do all of the above. Can you guys recommend a device? I really appreciate any help, and thanks in advance.
