raspberry pi 4 acrylic case wifi problem?

So I have a raspberry pi 4 8gb that I got used and I have one of those acrylic cases thays stack together and I can't get it to connect to my wifi but if I move it to one of the 3d printed cases that I have it will work just fine has anyone experienced this and have a fix because it's a nice case but if I can't get it to work I might as well throw the acrylic away and keep the hardware
