Raspi Pico script works from Thonny but not stand-alone.

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hi all,
i just started my first project with a Raspberry Pi Pico.
I wrote some code that lets me pwm control a rgb-led strip and read input from a button, when i run it out of the Thonny IDE it works just fine, but when i try to use it stand-alone, the pi seems to just set the gpios high or something, the led strip simply lights up in white and full brightness.
I saved the script as "main.py" on the pico (tried directly out of thonny as well as connecting the pi with the bootsel button pressed and copying the script onto it).
Am i doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day!
