Network manager for n00bz

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hello all, this is my first post here and not sure if this is the right sub. However, I recently had a tough time switching wifi networks on my headless Pi from my home wifi to my mobile hotspot. I also had a a hair pulling struggle to turn on/off ad hoc wifi mode. There really seems like a lot of typing commands for something that should be simple. (Especially for you beginners out there.)
So I decided I would make a simple script/tool to solve this. I’m not sure if anyone is interested but I figured I would share to maybe improve workflow and save time for not only myself but the lovely community.
Here’s my GitHub: https://github.com/B3ND1X/nm4n00bz
If anyone has any questions, comments or suggestions please feel free to drop me a DM. Please let me know if you run into any issues.
Cheers!
