Pi camera stops working after a while

Pi camera stops working after a while

Recently I dug up my old Pi (model 3 B v1.2) from 2015. I started playing around with the noir camera (bought at the same time as the pi). One thing I noticed is that after about 30 mins the camera seems to stop working (not writing images to buffer). Other that that I don't see any errors. Its possible the the hardware is too old and its starting to fail? Is there a way to verify my assumption?
