What is a way to shutdown a pi and turn it on with a master switch?

What is a way to shutdown a pi and turn it on with a master switch?

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I've been making a arcade machine and the stage I'm in is the one with the most problems. One of them is this. On the back of the machine is a master switch which powers on the monitor, led's, and the pi, which is doesn't. When it's on and I turn it off from the master switch then turn it on again with the master switch the pi starts up but there is no signal. I have to unplug and replug the power cable for it to properly start. So my question is how can I make the pi start up with the master switch and have a signal? Hopefully this wasn't to complicated.
Thanks.
