How to turn off raspberry pi fan in Argon One m.2 case?

Hi. I bought the Argon One m.2 case for my raspberry Pi 4 not too long ago. But that fan noise is so loud and whiny.
However the fan noise it makes is horrendous and not really needed for what i'm using the raspberry pi for (just running home assistant).
Is there no way to turn this fan off? Alternatively, is it safe to just disconnect the fan? Or is there a better way to disable / kill this whiny fan?
