Possible scam?

Hi! Emm… I think maybe I have been a victim of a scam regarding a Streets of Rage II european copy. The thing is I bought it online, it was cheaper because the box and the cartridge were damaged. It included the manual. I still havent been able to test in on my real Sega Megadrive with multiregion mod, so far I just can test it in my At Games HDMI Model 2. When I play it there IT APPEARS IN JAPANESE as BARE KNUCKLE II. That is imposible for an european game. The cartridge plastic is original it says it was made in the UK. The pins are old and brown-ish. Do you think the AT GAMES is nuts or the game is fake? I wont be able to test it on the OG console until next week. Thanks.
