Model 1 not working

I have a model 1 genesis, and it the light works when turned on, the tv also registers it as something being hooked up but the screen stays black and just makes a light buzzing noise, I also know the buzzing is caused by the Genesis because when set to another tv source or when the Genesis is turned off the buzzing stops. Does anyone know if this is a certain issue or any way to fix it?
