Capacitor Replacement

I bought a Master System recently and it’s mostly fine, the one issue is that the colors on the screen cycle through like a epileptic nightmare of colors. I’ve cleaned it, tried different cables and no luck. Decided it’s maybe a capacitor. However, I have a capacitor kit for a game gear, can I use those to fix it? I’ve never attempted anything like this kind of fix, I’m unskilled in this so if that’s a stupid question, my bad. But if the fix is more trouble than what I have on hand now I’m not sure I’m willing to try.
