How do I earn the 'score 300 points' trophy on KOF99 PS4?

I changed by difficulty to eight and on the first round, straight away without using any continues or anything, I earnt 302 points. However, I've tried this multiple times and the trophy still hasnt come through - Im so baffled because I have the score 200 points trophy, why cant I get the 300 point one?
