PSX Classic price more expensive?

Hey, is price of the mini console gone higher through these years? I remember seeing it in shops for even $40-50, but now I can't see it lower than $100
Is that because the console was limited or something? Maybe it's just in my country (Poland) and the price haven't ever changed?
