Is it possible to transfer ff7 save files from my PSC to the steam pc version?

I have been playing FF7 on my PSC for a while now and I recently bought the steam version since the resolution is way better. I really wanna play on my pc but it would be a waste if I had to start over from scratch, so I wonder if its possible to transfer the safe files?
