I replaced my internal games and they won't show up in retroboot's emulationstation

I replaced the default.lpl and I also replaced the sony - playstation.lpl but the non-existant games keep popping up. There's an init.sh and initfast.sh that seems to refer to the original list but it looks very time consuming to alter and I'm not sure how to properly edit that. Is there an easier way?
