Can't connect to my PSC via FTP

I'm selling my PSC to someone else and they wanted a few other games as stock. I had already hacked my PSC and replaced stock games with other ones. So I thought I'd do it as usual:

[LIST]
[*]connect via USB and power it up
[*]use Putty to make sure overwriting priviliges are set right
[*]then use FileZilla to enter the file structure and replace the internal roms

I've done that countless times back in the day. However, it doesn't connect to FTP anymore. The connection just times out in Filezilla with the following instructions:
[INDENT] In the filezilla client go to the “hostâ€￾ box and put the following ip address 169.254.215.100 , in the username field put “rootâ€￾ in the password field leave blank, in port put 21, click on “Quickconnectâ€￾
[/INDENT] Putty just remains a black screen with its relevant login data.
I was on Autobleem or Bleemsync I think before, so I thought I'd uninstall that and use Project Eris. But after installing that I still can't get into it via FTP.
Does anyone know what's going on or what I should do? I want FTP access to replace the stock games so I can deliver it 'stocklike', so no USBs needed to play etc.
