tutorial how to add dos dosbox games on mini nes snes sega genesis megadrive using hakchi version 3.8 3.8.0

i'll assume that you start to mod from the very begining so you need to download hakchi 3.8.0. After this, you need to execute it. If you have an access denied message, you need to uninstall/desactivate your antivirus.

Now, for the emulator. You need Dosbox. To download it, go to Module/KMFD's mod hub. a new window will pop up. Click on KMFD Cores. Search the section Microsoft MS-Dos. Click on DosBox SVN. The other version of DosBox will work but will go a lot more slower.

now you have DosBox on your hard drive (computer). You need to install it on your mini console. if not already done, close the KMFD's mod hub's window and go to module/install extra modules. Everytime you install a new emulator, you need to re-install the other ones with RetroArch 184 Xtreme RGUI. now follow the instruction.

now to add a Dos games. Click on the button Add More games. go where your game is and select only the .EXE file. In this example, i will install Wolfenstein 3D. now Wolfenstein 3D is in the list, it might be named wolf3d because it's shortened for the Dos Max name'S length of 8 bit. To change that, click on Wolf3d, and look for game info. You can modify it as you want. now uncase Compress. We don't want to compress it or else the game might not work.

now we need to add the files that wolf3d.exe require in order to work. You can't do this by simply adding more games because the files will not be on the same folder than wolf3d.exe even if you try to make it in sort in the structure folder. You need to add them on Wolf3D.exe's folder. to do this. right click on your recent added game and click on Show in Window Explorer. You will notice now that all the game you installed are in the folder ..\hakchi2-ce-3.8.0-debug\games. fromn the recent opened folder, you can copy and paste all your .wl6 files.
Now you need to select wich emulator does the game run on. For this, right click on the game, click on Select Emulation Core. Click on your game on the left tab. and click on DosBox SVN on your bottom right tab. click on apply and then close.
Now, the game is still not on your mini console. Click on Synchronise selected games with mini. Follow the instruction.

Now you have a dos game that work. But wait, you can't move. In order to move, you need to remap the control. press Start+Select. From there, you can select quick menu/controls/Port 1 Controls.
In device, i suggest you to choose Keyboard+mouse. From there, you can make in sort that everytime a certain button is pressed, a key on the keyboard will be pressed. if you don't want to choose your control everytime you open the game. Press B, and select Save Game Remap File.
