My ps3 randomly crashes,and light flash between green and yellow(kind of white)

It happens once a while, mostly upon transitions(like exiting a game or entering a game). The screen goes to black and no response(it could go on for hours), the light flash between green and light yellow. Button press doesn't work had no choice but to force shutdown.
