Are N3DS XL's Discontinued?

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

I haven't been able to find a single N3DS XL in stock for months. I've searched through every single Amazon domain (.com, .co.uk, .de, .fr, .co.jp) as well as ShopTo and so many others. Have Nintendo discontinued this system as they did with the non-XL N3DS back in 2017? Any answer would be much appreciated.
