Using the PS4s USB ports to power the TG16mini.

I typically go this route with all my mini systems and haven't had any issues. However, given the current situation with failing units, I decided to look into the power specs of the PS4s USB. The system is in sleep mode when powering the mini. Unfortunately I can't find any info on power output for 1st Gen PS4s and was hoping someone with more knowledge would be able to chime in. Specifically what the amperage from the USB ports of the PS4 Is and how it would compare to a dedicated power supply. My somewhat limited knowledge on power draws leads me to believe that the mini systems only draw what they need from the USB ports.
Has anyone run into issues or been in a similar situation as this?
