Battery replacement: How tell if my 3ds model uses battery from pre 2015 version of battery or not?

(bought the model the "new" 3ds xl model in spring of 2016 and the "" post to be the color things around the new like the model does)
I need to find out if my model of the "new" nintendo 3ds xl (red) is the pre 2015 battery or the 2015 battery, cause on amazon theirs 2 batteries and one says "New 2015 Version Nintendo 3DS XL Battery Replacement SPR-003" and the other says Official Nintendo 3DS XL Battery Replacement SPR-003. I got mine in 2016 but I don't want to risk getting the wrong battery and fing up my 3ds. the info on the back IFT: RCPNIRE14-2038 RATING/ALIMENTACION:4.6 v =4.1W BATTERY: Li-ion (SPR-003) 3.7 V =. MOD. RED-001 RED-S-USZ-C1. I want to make sure im ordering the right one for my 3ds.
