I have a line of light coming through the top of my screen

I just noticed my 2ds xl has gotten a bright light coming out of the top screen and I only recently got this ds probably a month or less ago. I don't really take it out with me but when I do i carry it carefully in my bag so I'm not sure if I may have bumped it against something for this to happen
Here's what it looks like
Is this normal?, is there a fix or must I go to a repair shop?
Sorry it's not a 3ds post but not sure where else to go for advice, and a Google search didn't really show me the issue I had
