Will Nintendo repair cosmetic damage

[Released: 2011] The 3DS is similar to the DS, but is capable of projecting stereoscopic 3D effects without the use of 3D glasses or additional accessories. A redesigned "XL" version of the console was also released.

Hello!
So I bought a Pokeball 2DS off of eBay and it came more damaged than advertised. I got a partial refund from the seller so that's fine but the damage still nags at me being a collector. It's purely on the bottom of the shell but I can't find replacements for it otherwise I'd DIY it.
So my question is, obviously it's out of warranty, but can I pay Nintendo to refurbish it and replace the bottom?
