I found my old Edge Card but it's not working with my New 2DS XL. Any Ideas how to fix?

I found my old nds edge card but i cannot get it to work. Can someone please point me in the right direction to find people who'll know how to make it work or tell me how to?

The MicroSD card within it still works, as i can plug it into my laptop just fine. My 2ds xl isn't reading it.
