Anyone has experience with one of those ultra-cheap RGB extensions on Ebay?

If you search for "rgbs video booster pc engine" you'll find a metric shitton of identical RGB extensions for the PC Engine on Ebay, all of them really cheap. Anyone has experience with those? If I'm not mistaken these are "just" the regular internal RGB mod with a 7314 amp on an external PCB with an added Megadrive 2 connector. Is that about right? How does it look like with an OSSC? Anyone has a capture?
I'm looking for a RGB solution till the SSDS3 becomes available again and this looks like it might just work...
