Looking for a controller with sticks as responsive as the official ones.

Post by /p3 »

Hey guys.
TLDR: Looking for 3rd party controller (or cheap official) with STICKS without the "small push dead zone", so that I can make small aim adjustments like I could with my official one.
My official controller broke, so I'm looking for a new one. However as we all know new official PS3 controllers are almost impossible to find, even the pre-owned ones are usually very expensive - and often have the same damage as my one already - and there are apparently fakes out there, so that's nice.
So anyway I'm hoping you guys can tell me which 3rd party controllers have sticks as responsive as the official ones. I tried the Powerplay Gamepad, and the APLAY wireless controller, but both of them have sticks which dont respond when moved slightly. This makes FPS games pretty much unplayable, as you cant adjust your aim by small increments, and when you push the stick enough to get a response, it jerks the aim far too far.
I've looked at several sites such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO2ZhqSiZ9M
and https://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/rf-buying-guides/best-ps3-controllers-reviews
But they seem rather vague on the sticks, which is the issue, and when they talk about responsiveness, focus on the buttons.
So I'm hoping you guys can help, cheers!
I'm in NZ btw if that makes a difference.
