However, to access the service in November, players will have to purchase the Stadia Founder’s Edition for $129.99. The Founder’s Edition includes a Google Chromecast Ultra, an exclusive Night Blue Stadia controller, three months of Stadia Pro, a buddy pass to give a friend three months of Stadia Pro, and a first chance to secure a Stadia name.
In terms of pricing, two options will be offered: Stadia Pro and Stadia Base. Stadia Pro will be available at launch for $9.99 a month and lets players stream a selection of games at 4K/60 FPS with HDR and 5.1 surround sound support. Stadia Pro also comes with a free copy of Destiny 2: The Collection.
While Stadia Base is free and will be made available in 2020. This free option limits players to 1080p/60 FPS streaming and will not include any games. Both Pro and Base users will be able to purchase games separately and play them via Stadia.
