Tomodachi life for 3DS keeps crashing?

So i hope this is ok here? I have had a strange bug happening in the game. I own this game twice, once digital and once physical. Today i tried to enter the stores on both games and both ended up crashing the system. I've played them both on a different 3ds (a 2ds and a new 3ds) and both had exactly the same problem today! The only thing that these two games have in common is some shares mii's (i did not want to remake some) I've ruled out the fact it has to do with certain new items as one game has almost everything and it crashes too upon entering a store.
Has anyone else had this problem too? And could you fix it? I've read that multiple people had this problem and that it usually fixes in a day (as shops get new items etc.)
