How does Napple Tale hold up?

[Released: 1998] Born out of Sega's darkest hour to decide whether the company stays in the hardware business. Even though it didn't officially last long in the US, it was continued selling in Japan and spawned some great 2D Japanese shooters.

I love platformers, and Napple Tale seems like a cool game in the Dreamcast library. How well has the game aged? Is it the platforming and general gameplay polished and fun in 2024? Also, please feel free to share any general thoughts on the game if you've played it. Thanks!
