Retro for NES

Post by /RetroGaming »

I'm wondering if a consensus can be created for the best retro console to buy for NES games. While I know no gaming system is perfect I'm hoping to settle on one that has the least known problems, or least dealing with one that has issues I'm willing to put up with. I've looked at all the big names on Amazon, walmart and ebay for used comparisons. From tight fitting cartridges to the audio not matching up to the original I've certainly read them all. Are issues likely to die down with the more money you spend? Yeah I have the original but just like back in the day the cartridge doesn't stay down w/o wedging something else in there. Poor design still wondering why they went with that. Emulators I'm not into, plus I have 30 cartridges that are ready to play.
