Retrotink 5X Pro issue

I'm having issues where say my character takes damage instead of the proper flashing my character either is invisible or remains solid or occasionally works normal. Seems to suffer more with playing the super NES especially Konami games like rocket night or sparkster I mean.

I'm pretty sure I have just the standard firmware, I use the standard remote. I've changed it from generic 4:3 to the super NES 256 setting. I was under the impression that the retro tank 5X handles this.

Could this be my TV, something with the firmware, probably a lot of different things?
