Is it stupid to make boxes for your favorite games except you don't have a physical copy of it

I'm started making boxes for my 2 snes games Yoshi's island and ff6 and i really love them and how they look on the shelf. I want to display more of my childhood games there but i can't buy them all so do you guys think it's stupid to make retro game boxes just for displaying and potentially the box remain empty?
