Pi cam v3 standard vs wide

Post by /RaspberryPi »

I wanna make something with a camera and a raspberry pi zero 2 w that makes a photo and sends it to my phone every time it detects movement, but ik not sure whether I should go with the pi cam v3 standard (76° angle) or the wide (120° angle) because the wide is 10 bucks more and I probably wont use it a lot, but If the camera quality isn't a lot worse on the more expensive wide lense I'll go with that one.

Long story short: is the more expensive wide camera a lot worse in terms of quality
