I managed to extract the files from a xbox live arcade game using a python script, but I don't think it's right

The game files
The script that was supposed to extract the .apm files

The files are the game's sprites. But I can't get to them, if I use the script it extracts a .bin file with 1/10 of the original file size. I need some help with figuring out how to properly get the game sprites from this files.
