Help with i2c-0 ports on Raspberry Pi 3B v1.2

Post by /RaspberryPi »

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to use the i2c-0 ports on my Raspberry Pi 3B v1.2 to connect some sensors, but I can't get any signal from them. I have enabled the i2c-0 port by adding dtparam=i2c_vc=on to my /boot/config.txt file, and I have also added 2k-ohm pull-up resistors between 3.3V and the clock and data pins. I have disabled the camera module and enabled i2c using raspi-config. I have checked the devices using sudo i2cdetect -y 0, but it shows nothing. I have also tried different sensors and cables, but nothing works.

I have followed the instructions from this website (https://woodgears.ca/tech/i2c.html), but I still can't get it to work. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is there something else I need to do to enable the i2c-0 port? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
