I just finished this for the first time on NES. I played it when it originally came out on Steam and I think that I started it and got close via an emulator when I first got it in the mail but yesterday I finished it completely. I played it on an Everdrive through an AVS using an original dogbone controller.
I loved the new content in it and it definitely felt more like a complete game than what I remembered.
IMO this is the best NES game ever made. I haven’t played through the new Garbage Pail Kids game yet but I liked that one too. There’s a lot of fantastic games unofficially released for this system that I don’t see a lot of on this Sub. I understand bragging and collecting porn but this game is way better than some of those 1500 dollar titles.
The reason why this game tops my list is that it’s the best parts of Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, and Bubble Bobble. The game literally the Supreme Pizza of NES games.
Anyways. This is also my brag of having copy 21 of 3000 of the usb drives. Have a good day.
