Jesus Christ, the fat ps3 model is a hassle.

I never took one of these apart before, and my godddd. So many screws, the plastic is VERY hard to unsnap when it’s never been done before…. The heat sink came off way easier than I’d expect yet actually getting the heat sink out of the fan shroud and back into it OMG.

I wanted to rip my hair out by the time I was done with this thing, I had to place the heat sinks which are two Seperare blocks into the fan shroud and hold it together as I bolted them in lol.

This was not fun, I’m seeing an immediate heat difference but I think the fan bearing needs oil or is hitting something so I gotta re dismantle…

I got another 4g of paste coming 2 wasn’t enough imo, but it is so much better.
