PS3 unable to find mp4s in "video" file?

I have a usb stick, ive formatted it to fat32, make a video folder, with two four hour long, 360p mp4s that i want to see on my tv. Any troubleshooting methods i shopuld know? even hitting triangle to display all doesnt make them show up.
