Should I transfer my games before or after I mod it and can I tell a ps3 to target my adapter

I Have ps3 games I can put on vita if I hook it up should I do that immediately or wait till I hack the system cause I'd rather since those games are unintentially there put them on my vita like ps Allstars , do I do that before or after I hack the thing.

Also I had the sd 2 vita adapter when I set thr vita up to use that will the ps3 be able to do its transfer there (my Micro SD is 500gb the proprietary is 16 gb) and I think I wouldn't be able to fit all the games I haven't checked
