Trying to diagnose the problem with my Gamecube

Post by /gamecube »

I've been trying to get into console fixing/modding and picked up a for-parts Gamecube. I've tested the cables and the TV used, and they work fine so it's not them. I turn on the console, and the light turns on (orange if that matters), but there is no start up menu, no audio, or visual of any kind. The disk doesn't spin when I put one in, and neither do the fans. I don't think it's the disk drive or power port or the line out. I'm thinking there is something wrong with the board. I haven't found a definite answer anywhere online so this is my best shot at figuring out what's wrong with it. Has anyone else had this problem or does any one know where I can find an answer to this problem?
