Ps3 shitting down

I noticed that my ps3 slim shuts down randomly , the screen suddenly goes black and the light on the power button turns off , i’ll let my console rest for a bit and then it runs just fine until it decides to have the same issue again , i think it’s an overheating power supply but i am not sure ( when it shuts down , there is no beeps , so i don’t think it’s the cpu or board overheating ) Can anyone help me define the issue with my console ?
