Xbox 360 RGH Aurora - how to reset?

Hello
I just bought my first Xbox360 and im going to give it as Christmas gift for some kid.
How to factory reset console without losing Aurora? Last owner left his all profiles and demos (demos are in original xbox menu). I tired google with no luck.

additional questions:
Does temperatures on photo are fine? I played for some time and then was in menu for like 10 mins and temps seems to be high. Im IT guy, does replacing thermal paste on xbox slim is easy job? How to fix no cover photos...
