Found a Japanese Power Link Studio Cutie coin op photo machine, looking for info

I found this at a vintage store today. I’m buying it for a friend for Christmas, and I anticipate there will probably be some work to be done on it, but I cannot find a single bit of information about these online. Does anyone know anything about these?
