Playing NTSC on PAL TV

Post by /saturn »

Hi all, I live in the UK and while I have always played using my native PAL hardware I have just purchased a Japanese Saturn and am looking for some kind of guidance on how to spot a PAL TV capable of displaying NTSC correctly.

I'm almost certain my current budget portable CRT (only composite no scart) won't support it. I'm happy to purchase something more suitable but don't want to be buying and testing on a trial by error basis given the prices of these televisions nowadays.

In lieu of any more technical advice I was going to get a late gen Trinitron as they had an excellent reputation from what I remember.
