I need help with identifying NES boards

Hey, I'm a collector looking to get into some of the more pricey games when I can afford it. My question is...if someone uploads a picture of a board and I look on NEScartDB but see some numbers not matching up should I be worried? I really have no idea what to look for and assume some games just have different parts based on their production time etc.
