EZ-Flash Omega faceplates are garbage

[Released: 2001] Backward compatibility for Game Boy and Game Boy Color games is provided while a link port at the top of the unit allows it to be connected to other devices via use of a Nintendo Game Link cable or GameCube cable.

EZ-Flash Omega faceplates are garbage

So I received the EZ-Flash Omega, and I immediately tried to change the faceplate. Well, the faceplates are terrible because it wouldn't come out of the faceplate so I had to pry it open because a stupid plastic pin was forcing it shut. In the process solder holding down the battery came off of one end, and I can't close the DS Lite faceplate. What should I do? I'm f***ing pissed. Thankfully I have a soldering iron...
